We had planned to have dinner at My Own Cafe, only to find out it closes at 5:00pm. So we came back for lunch the following day instead. We had laksa, char kway teow and chicken wings. Very, very satisfied! Drinks and food are paid separately, so don't be confused. The friendly cats were having their siesta, but we enjoyed a bit of purring (and begging). Would definitely recommend this place - a cool haven after walking around in the sun all morning!

Small cafe offering 4 items. Ok Laksa , no chilli for Char Koay Teow, forgot my drinks, server busy chatting to tourist. Locals get ignored. Will not return.

Really enjoyed the asam laksa, char kuey teow and Penang white ice-coffee. Everything tasted great and was full of flavour. Furthermore, the owner was incredibly friendly and even gave us a leaflet with information about things to do in the area. Cost was very reasonable too.

If you want the real assam laksa, this is the place to be. It's hard to get the authentic ones these days so when you find it, appreciate it. Yummy!!!
