Love the location due easily walking distance to find the street art and one of the famous food kuey tiao duck soup.Very convenient to find hawker food around this hotel!Hotel Parking is limited but the staff there very helpful let you know where to park your car.The hotel room is very clean and new.Good solid bed, provide toiletries, hairdryer, variety of TV channel, safety box, laundry service-a bit expensive, kettle in the room.I think no need bring any 3in1 , there a restaurant in this hotel, you can have good coffee or tea there! The shower is great, but only hard to bath baby or toddler!
Will definitely stay again ! Value for money

POSITIVES:
- good georgetown location. just minutes walk from all the major street art in georgetown, lots of local restaurants nearby, a major shopping centre about 500m away.
- friendly staff. gave good directions, easy checkin/out.
- pretty building exterior.
- strong water pressure in shower.
- restaurant attached to hotel has decent food.

NEGATIVES:
- WIFI very weak (literally had to sit at the door in order to get signal).
- Only one big towel per person (i.e. no face towel)
- Small window with NO view

It's the 2nd time we stayed in this hotel in 5 months time. Just when I checked in, the staff already recongnized us and it was so sweet. The room given to us is still clean and spacious enough and the A/C worked well. You can go to the roof to have the scenery of George Town even for sunrise and senset. The famous Komtar is just 10-15 minutes walk. There're many bicycle rental shops nearby. Trust me, the staff in this hotel are much more friendly than those in Tune Hotels. Recommended.

we drove there based on GPS waze but it did not give an accurate location. then called to the hotel and Govin was very kind to give a really clear cut direction and eventually we reached. Thank you Govin!
Family room was great but true enough the sound ventilation is really poor.
All the male staff at reception are very friendly , but at the total opposite is the Indian woman reception who offered NO smile at all when ask her some simple questions and did not wear any name tag. find out later her name Susan, you really shouldn't be in the service line when all you know is to show sour sucking face.

Dear Guest,

We sincerely apologize for the service rendered by the front desk.

Please rest assured, we will speak to the staff and ensure she improves her service. The hotel manager will be monitoring her closely.

On a separate note, Govin is extremely happy to find this positive review and also motivated to know that his efforts are noticed.

Thank you for the review. We hope to have the sincere pleasure of welcoming you back soon.

Best location, surrounded with awesome food, 5 mins walk away from komtar bus terminal and 2 shopping mall.

A fridge would be nice but can't complain for the price you are paying. If you are a light sleeper, choose a room away from the road.

Clean toilets, helpful staffs, good wifi and 2 bottles of mineral water everyday

Very nice hotel. Our room was a good size with a big bathroom. Good firm bed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant alongside with entrance frm hotel - good prices and nice food. Cafe and convenience store also located on ground floor. Centrally located with easy walk to th river and heritage sights. Easy walk to mall and retail shops. downside no bar on premises; no fridge in room. Kettle supplied but no coffee / tea. 2 towels only a day and 2 pillows but more were happily supplied on request. Would stay again.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating even when we arrived at 6.00am. The building is quite old but the interior styling is cool and moderm but still with real character. The rooms were pleasant, spacious and comfortable. the air conditioning was efficient but the wifi in the room wasn't great.
It is located in the heart of heritage Georgetown and an easy walk to attractions.
A very nice, good value hotel.
