The temple has a reclining Buddha, though not as imposing as Wat Pho in Bangkok, this temple and its grounds is also beautiful. less crowds mean that it can be a more serene experience.

When you were never been going to Wat Po, this place is best place to seen. Even you're not Buddhist it must place to go.

I visited this temple many years ago and it’s still looked the same the first time I saw it! Very well maintained and the place is clean. You feel peaceful and calm when you’re in the temple. Very historical...

This is worth seeing if you are in Penang for a few days and is quite beautiful and interesting but is nowhere near as good as the real Thai temples in Thailand, although if you haven't been to Thailand, it is maybe more worth seeing because it has the same style.

Sitting right across from the Burmese temple, this Thai based buddhist temple has a large reclining Buddha as its main feature.
Upon entering the compound, you can't help feel serene and calm. Many people come here to pray especially on Buddhist days.
Easy to get to as it is located in the city.
