I was surprised we could visit the inside of the temple and shoot some pictures while there was a ceremony.Very nice light inside, i did not use flash, because i don't like to disturb the ceremony.

Good idea how to know partly hindu religion in live environment. We are visited one after another temples - chinese, christian, moslim. On one street are many different temples - penang is multicultural part of malajsia.

You have seen one, you have seen them all. Nothing special going on and nothing special to see. Exciting during the special ceremonies, but generally a moderate Hinduism temple.

Visiting this small temple in Little India is like stepping into another world. Brahman priests are chanting and sadhus are praying. Nice statues with flower garlands. Not an amazing temple architecturally, but a nice oasis in the craziness of Little India.
