For me, the Mee Goreng is really nice from there. Most of the people like the Mee Goreng but I like the Mee Rebus. Mee Rebus with sotong is definitely one of the best in town. However, the price had been soaring in the past few years. It is good to eat once in a while with high price.

Limited car park in Bangkok Lane. Need more luck in order to get near parking lot or you need to arrive early 10/11am to get a strategic lot.

Typical local coffee shop atmosphere.

So far I've only had mee goreng mamak with squid despite going there more than once. It is spicy but non-spicy version is available - the taste is just as nice. Two servings availabe - regular and large. One serving might not be enough :)

The coffee shop is busy and you might need to wait a table. You might have to share especially if you are alone/two person group.

Parking is not easy. You can park on Bangkok Lane (it's a one way street) or opposite the end of the lane and walk a bit to the coffee shop.

Can be located on Waze as Seng Lee.

Ordered a small plate of mee goreng (fried noodles) for RM5 (large = RM6). A lot of squids were added. Quite delicious. Not very spicy in which I think most people can accept. We were surprised that our food was served in less than 2 minutes (we took it during a weekend's evening about 5pm, although not peak hour but the shop was about 80% filled at that time.)

Bangkok Lane Mee Goreng stall is actually located in a shop called Seng Lee Cafe. There are other stalls in this shop but apparently this stall is the most famous one.

P/S: The Indian waiters/cook can speak Hokkien.

Reportedly the best mee goreng and mee rebus in the whole of Penang, this place never fails to amaze me with its delicious and hottest signature cuisine. If you chance by Pulau Tikus, this is one such place that you should make an attempt to drop by as Bangkok Lane is just within walking distance from the Pulau Tikus wet market. Both the customer service and satisfaction is commendable as the chef is not only good at his skills in cooking the best mee goreng/rebus, but is also able to converse in a word or two of the local Hokkien dialect.

A tip or two - you can ask for more spice if you are feeling up to it. Additional toppings such as sotongs (squids) are possible too!
