Spending two nights at this very unique home stay at Penang early December give me unforgettable experience.
Sleep over the edge of the sea on the renovated house from previously traditional fisherman house was a really cool feeling.
Clean room (shared bathroom and toilet) with polished brown color wooden floor and wall, and an open deck to see the sea (strait) between Penang Island and mainland of Malaysia just one comment to say, unique and beautiful.
The location is at the end of long alley between local houses on wooden walkway, and not to far 10-15 min walking distance from the jetty wharf to mainland Malaysia (Butterworth) and main Georgetown Bus Terminal to (nearly) every place in Georgetown, give me plenty opportunities to explore Georgetown with public transportation.
Moreover, with the Ferry, traveler can reach Malaysian KTM Rail network very easy because the Butterworth Railway Station is located next to the Ferry Wharf at mainland side, free Ferry fare if you traveling to Mainland direction.
A rows of local food courts are available along the road near this home stay, or you can go to the city centre which give you unlimited choices of food.
For MYR 70-75 per night per room for two people, it is a good choice, including free tea and coffee.
Just one cons : for traveler with private Car, no special parking available, only road side parking which mostly have been used by regular locals, so difficult to park.
A free bus to the city centre (KOMTAR) is available every 15 min from the Jetty Bus Terminal.
