Description: Kebaya is the diningroom of the Seven Terraces and is open to hotel guests and the public.Open daily, 7pm till 10pm.Christopher Ong has worked with the hotel’s chefs to create a menu of classic Indo and Straits Chinese Nyonya dishes. They have refined these using French cooking techniques and innovative produce to deliver surprising new twists on this already fascinating cuisine. The effect is simple, delicious full of flavour and dazzling.A four course degustation menu of entrée, main course, vegetables and dessert is served in Chinese style to allow guests to share the dishes. The Baba Bar is open daily from 2pm onwards, with live piano music in a very intimate setting.

“Great Taste of Penang”
Reviewed April 12, 2014

Lovely Peranakan setting and delicious food. When we visited the meals only came in a set so you had to make a minimum purchase - ie no a la carte. We enjoyed every bite.

“Consistently Good”
Reviewed April 8, 2014

We ate at this restaurant on our previous visit to Penang in December and it left us wanting more. So without hesitation on our return to Penang, we headed to it and again experienced wonderful food, wine, ambiance and fantastic service. Everything about the evening was just as good as we remembered and a restaurant we will difinately be returning to.

The only very minor criticism we have is that the menu hadn't changed from our previous visits and because it only has a small selection of dishes to choose from on each course we found that we ordered exactly the same ones that we had before. It was for this reason that we cancelled our reservation for a few nights later because we didn't want the same food again.

“Great food, wine okay!”
Reviewed March 31, 2014 via mobile

We had a great night out and we'd defiantly go back! Dinner is made up of a minimum of three serves (starter, main and dessert) of which you choose from a select group of options for each. We loved the food and overall, this was our favourite night out whilst in Penang. I'd highly recommend going. The only down fall for us was the wine. We ordered a bottle of white and it was average.... a shame, but not a major let down as the food saved the day!
