This hotel is beautiful - so well restored, nice local details in all the rooms without being overrun w antiques. The rooms are huge - beds on lofted second floor, huge bathrooms w rain shower heads in the middle of the room, a living room. The bed was so comfortable I slept like a log. The restaurant is delicious - some of the best food we ate and good wine options, and breakfast was also delicious (mostly western options but some local dishes). The service was top-notch, very attentive but also discreet, and genuinely friendly - when we left they stood outside watching us go, making even the last minutes intimate! The only issue is that the pool is not really set up for laying out - only 1 lounge chair, rest are single couch seats made for sitting, not sunbathing. But the pool itself is clean and nice - small but sufficient for the size of the hotel. Location is great, everything we wanted to go to was within walking distance - restaurants, bars, in-town sights.
