We had decided to visit Yong Pin Restaurant for dim sum breakfast instead of Dai Tong as Yong Pin was nearer to Traders Hotel and the kids were starving. The place was quite busy but we still manage to get a 8 seater table.
Upon seating down trays of dim sum was delivered. Some of the items we ordered that is worth mentioning is the har kow, shrimp siew mai, char siew pau and fried prawn pancake.
All the ingredients especially the shrimps were fresh and firm. The skin of the har kow was not too thick and just nice. The char siew pau filling was slightly on the sweet side but overall it was still good. The prawn pancake was interesting and quite good.
Overall i still say it is not bad and worth a return visit when i return to Penang.
