Was wondering how it got no 1 best restaurant for Georgetown in TA , most reviewers are foreign tourist staying in hotels in this part of inner city so there is some bias. Tried the food thrice for dinner over the last 2 months . Would Give them top marks for organisation and service, despite the fast turn over of big crowds. The dishes worth trying– curry fish , fried sweetened roast pork , chicken thai sauce, Seafood Lor bak, duck in gravy.
As a local and having tried quite a no of such “chu Char” or “ cooking dishes to eat with rice” in shops around this area, I would rate it as quite good, but not the best or no 1 in Georgetown! There are other equally tasty and good restaurants nearby e.g along or off nearby chulia street/cintra street. Would rate it as a little more pricy for Penang standards. Finding a car park lot can be a problem around this area.
