Pros: Hotel room is small with only the bare minimal necessity such as a comfortable bed, a small side table and a ceiling fan with an attached bathroom (only bathroom mat and toilet roll included). Nothing to complain about as the hotel is relatively new so everything is clean. Did not add on the air-conditioning since the fan is cooling enough. Location is great since its just 10-15 mins walk to Mcalister Road where there a plenty of food to choose from.

Cons: Our room was not made up even though we hung the "Please make up room" outside our door in the morning. Agree with the other reviewers that you can hear the noise coming from the corridor in your room. So if you are a light sleeper please take note and be prepared to bear with it if you want to stay in this hotel.

I went to Penang with My Mom, we stayed at Tune Hotel, well it was cheap but comfy. The room wasn't that big, the floor wasn't that clean (and i think they just clean the bed and the bathroom maybe, but the floor remains the same in the next day), however the bed is comfy. The bathroom is clean and shower was great too. You don't have much space in the room. I read some reviews that say the noises from the hallway can be a bit noisy and i agree with that, although we didn't spend much inside the room. The fan works fine, the aircond is cool as well. I gotta say for that kind of price tune hotel is really worth to stay, especially if you're on a budget , and if you don't intend to spend a lot of time inside the room/hotel.

Okay, the rooms are tiny. But the bed is comfortable, showers have great pressure and the price was perfect for two backpackers. Rooms with a window facing the street are quite noisy, try to get a room facing the back. You have to pay for the amenities you need; if you're staying for more than one night the towel and 24-hour air con add-ons are worth it. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Free internet in lobby, get 30-minute free usage at a time. We did have mosquitoes in our room, but most rooms in Asia seem to! Limited food choices in the area, but there is a small outdoor mall with some restaurants next door but we didn't find most of it very appealing. Easy walk to China Town/Backpackers area and Little India where there is great food for great prices. Only con of hotel: If you need to make an international call, you have to go to the telecommunications HQ down the street and buy a long distance call and call from there. Otherwise, great hotel for a great price.

My girlfriend and I said here for 4 nights and thought it was great value. The rooms are small and covered in advertisements, but they are new, pretty clean and comfortable. On our first night, we had a room facing the street which was very noisy, the next day the staff switched us to a higher floor facing the a quiet alley. Problem solved. The free internet was great too. Would stay here again for sure.
