When you look at the restaurant, it's nothing to shout about. It looks slightly old and cleanliness is something they can improve on, but man is the food great!! They are famous for their morning dim sum and for lunch, the variety of stir fried noodles are amazing. I have tried the 'fan shu' which is a combination of thick hor fun noodles and beehoon (vermicelli) that can be fried with seafood/meat or a combination. This dish is particularly tasty as it is stir fried to perfection. Another worthy dish to try is their braised fish head beehoon (vermicelli). This takes about 15-20 minutes to cook, but I promise it's worth the wait. There is a little gravy with this dish and it's absolutely heavenly.
This restaurant has been blogged about in many local food blogs and many tourists come to visit, including Caucasians! It's definitely a must-try experience while you are in Penang. They are also known for their Hainanese Chicken Rice.
