“Wonderful view as long as you don't mind the noise and have sea legs.”
Reviewed June 8, 2012

We planned on having dinner but this kids friendly restaurant isn't a place where you can have a quiet dinner. There were children running around, screaming and shouting. With the hollow floors, the running around is quite loud and shakes even the tables. The so called live music is mediocre at best and the worse thing is the revolving is more revulsion...very jerky which will cause nausea for those without sea legs. Try having dinner with all the noise, vibrations and jerking floors. We walked over to another hotel and had dinner there. Much quieter with a wider spread.

“Food Standard Unbelievably Low - Pretty Noisy Too- V. Disappointed.”
Reviewed June 6, 2012

I took my mother to the revolving restaurant to celebrate her 80th Birthday. We went there because I had thought that would be a special place to have dinner. Gosh, what a disappointment it was.

The restaurant was crowded and noisy. And as if that was not noisy enough, they even have some singers trying to sing above the noise - so you could imagine what a DIN the result ensued. As they'd like say in Malaysia, "It was almost like a Fish Market!"

I read some people who said about the revolving restaurant not being high enough. Actually, although the restaurant was not very high, the night view was quite okay.

What was truly disappointing with was the quality of the food - or the lack of it. It was served buffet style. If you were keen on good quality meat, you might as well forget it. Apart from some deep fried greasy chicken, there was hardly any meat in other dishes. Maybe a couple of prawns in the fried noodle, that was about it. No beef, no pork, no lamb. It was as if the chef had been put on some stringeant economy budget therefore he could not afford to get quality ingredients.

Even for vegetarians, there was no much, if any, in terms of quality exotic vegetables - no avocadoes, no asparagus, etc, etc.

Some good chefs could create "amazing dishes" from humble ingredients. No these ones.
The dishes that came out was what I would describe as mass produced "lazy" easy-to-cook or prepare dishes. Deep fried greasy foods, uninteresting salads, overcooked limpy mixed vegetables.

The desserts were not that better either. It seems like the Executive Chef has either lost the plot or he lost his desire to try his best any longer. Common Chef, what's happened ???!!! Aren't you ashamed of such poor foods coming out of your kitchen??!!

My poor mother, who was wheel-chair bound, asked me to bring her some "lovely" food from the buffet table. I was so embarrassed and disappointed as I could hardly get any good thing there for her to eat. I had wanted to try make her happy and enjoy the evening. This restaurant has certainly managed to spoil that.

Malaysians are usually very good cooks and it is not difficult to find good food in Malaysian restaurants. I realise some people may disagree with me but the only word I could probably think to describe our experience at this restaurant was "Terrible".

“Great View, Lots of Just Pretty Good Food”
Reviewed March 28, 2012

Well, the view is splendid. And the buffet is big. And if it weren't so pricey, I'd probably feel better about the quality of the food. But at 40-68 ringgit, plus very costly drinks, the food doesn't seem quite worth it.
