We stayed here for 6 nights and definitely recommend this place! The A frame cottage was cozy and comfortable. The owners are friendly and helpful, they gave us good recommendations on places to go on the island. The beach is really near, and not packed at all. In the morning you have everything ready to cook: pancakes, toasts, sausages and eggs, and if course coffee and tea. It's a great idea and it feels like home.
There is possibility to rent scooter or bycicles in the area, which is very convenient and fun. Local food is available at walking distance with BBQ choice on weekends.
Overall we loved this place and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and relaxing getaway :)

Without a shadow of a doubt, the best place to stay on Pangkor. The entire place is pristine with perfect little A-frame bungalows and chalets, a gorgeous pool and pleasant common area with free wifi (decent). The price of a room (RM120+) includes a fantastic breakfast to include eggs, pancakes, chicken sausages, banana bread, toast with butter and jam, tea / coffee and fresh fruit. You help yourself and make your own eggs / toast / pancakes so no waiting for someone to take an age to serve you. You can also help yourself to tea, coffee and filtered water 24/7, and keep things in the (large) spare fridge if you want to. The owners are lovely and think of all the little things to make your visit as relaxing as possible, such as huge umbrellas to take with you if it's raining, beach mats that you can borrow, and they're in the process of extending the wifi to the pool area so that you can surf and sun at the same time.
The A-frames come with attached bathroom and cold (although it's never really cold, is it) great shower, a/c and fan, tv, hangers, a couple of shelves and the comfiest bed that I've slept in for a while.
Located down a quiet side street but only 30 seconds' walk to the stalls, restaurants, shops and Nipah Beach. Coral Bay Beach (much more beautiful and idyllic) is only a 3-4 minute walk along the road to the right.
Seriously, don't waste your time and money going anywhere else, just stay here. Fully deserving of the multiple TripAdvisor awards that they have won.

Room Tip: I stayed in one of the A-frame cottages which was perfect.

I was initially attracted to the A-frame cottages and the reviews/ratings from previous guests were just as attractive. Nipah Guesthouse surpassed my expectations. The place is family run, kept small and from recent updated pictures, they just can't stop improving the place! The cottages are super clean, simple and basic. Top notch hospitality!

2 words. Highly Recommended!
We were blown away by the landscape of the guesthouse, feels like you're in a doll playhouse, or playground. Either both, the place is fan-bloody-tastic! I was fascinated with the friendly approached and service given by the owner Anuar and Alicia, they both really made our day feel much better after long day to get there (drove from KL, almost lost to get to Lumut Jetty).
And yeah, the Cook-It-Yourself breakfast is tad brainy idea. Having marmite for breakfast is the best thing ever. And the pancake batter, just perfect. The nasi lemak with sambal ikan tongkol = WOWZER!
Awesome job done, 2 thumbs up for both Anuar and Alicia. Keep it up!

Room Tip: If you're a couple, nothing could go wrong with A type Cottage Frame.

Unique 'A' frame cottage was the draw. Friendly young couple (& a todddler) keeps place clean and continually maintaining and improving the grounds and pool. Appreciate their hard work in the upkeep. Clean room but needs to keep rot on wooden bathroom door in check. DIY breakfast is nice but gets a little crowded at the 2 stove when there's full house. Anuar also rents out his bikes and gives you navigation tips. Don't miss the 1-of-a-kind attraction from their next door neighbour who feeds bananas to the Hornbills at sunset. Make sure you have a quick finger on your camera!

My wife and I just finished our Malaysian vacation, and by far the best place we stayed at was Nipah Guesthouse! The A-Frame cottages are super charming and unique. The reason that makes Nipah Guesthouse so wonderful is the owners, Alicia and Anuar (and their little girl Aila). You can tell right away that they are passionate about what they do and that they take great measures to make your stay ideal. They keep the place extremely clean and well maintained, and they are constantly improving on amenities, landscaping, services etc. The brand new pool and sun deck lounge area were greatly appreciated. They are also always present to help with advices for visiting the island, restaurants, transportation, and just having a chat in general.

The place is only a 5 minute walk to the beach, and 10 minute walk to Coral Beach (which is a bit more quiet and pictoresque). We booked online (reserved with my credit card) and Alicia was always very punctual in responding to my many questions, always responding immediately the same day).

The "cook it yourself breakfast" is a fun original idea, and also gives the oppurtinuty to meet and talk with the other guests (unlike the resorts where everybody goes about their own private business).

Another "bonus" of the place, is that right next door a local man feeds bananas to the hornbills everyday at 6:30, and you can feed them too! I lost count at 30 hornbills!!

All in all, I was so happy with Nipah Guesthouse that I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else on Pangkor (unless of course they were full, of which I would propably change my vacation dates!!!)

Room Tip: If you truly want the full charm of the place, get one of the 4 A-Frame Cottages!! (All types of ro...
