When we first arrived at Nipah Guesthouse entrance, we were mesmerized at how nice and unique the place looked. We were very excited to take pictures of the cottage and tower house, truely Nipah guesthouse is one of a kind that stands out from all of the other chalet, villa and guesthouse in Pangkor. Alicia and Anuar has been very kind and friendly to us, they did very well in keeping the place clean and cozy. They're location are just 5 minutes walk away from the beach and convenient to all activities. The DiY bfast makes u feel at home and we had a great time feeding the hornbill. Nipah guesthouse has made our pangkor experience very interesting and overwhelming. We would definitely come back and stay again.

We stayed here for 3 nights, and wished it could have been longer. It was everything we hoped for in a guest house. Clean, comfortable with a bit character. Alicia and Aswan are excellent hosts, and went out of their way to help with travel arrangements back to Singapore. Coral beach is a short walk away and is delightful. We'd have no hesitation in going back tomorrow if we could.

When I'm searching for a suitable accommodation in tripadvisor, Nipah guesthouse, their unique design and comfortable environment was attracted me, with the review from other travellers, I believe this was the one that I want, which is just 400m from the Teluk nipah. I'm trying my way to get booking for the room, but a bit hard to get the contact, at last from other traveller's review i have found it ~ Anuar hp no - 017 5069259, you may email directly to Alicia - nipah.guesthouse@gmail.com for the booking which you can get immediate response from her.

I have reserved 1 unit of A-frame cottage (Max 2 person including children) (2 Days/1 Night) at RM120.00 per unit/night (Weekend rate). The A-Frame Cottage consists of 1 double bed, air-cond, fan, TV, attached bathroom/toilet (hot water shower NOT available) & DIY home breakfast for 2 person, & free wifi.

We reserve a scooter (RM40/day, motorbike is RM30/day) from the Lumut ferry jetty (ferry ticket - RM10 for return per person, around 20 minutes distance) and got the bike when we reach pangkor jetty, choose a good bike is important for safety, as some road is quite steep.

Around 2pm we reached guesthouse, Alicia with her smiling face was welcoming our arriving, with patience she explaining us the facilities in around and check in for us, a while more, we have step in to the room, it is quite satisfied when we get into the room, clean, well maintain, although the room is small but is sufficient for 2 person, Furthermore, they did provide everything that you think you are need it - breakfast, drinking water, coffee or tea, mat, place to wash away your sand before you enter room, map, mosquito killer if you need, as Anuar said "we think like travellers, what they need, what they want", that's why they can gain satisfaction from all guest . You will willing to stay in this guest house just for relaxing and rest.... the environment is comfortable and you will treat it just like home.

Just around 5 minutes walk, you can reach Nipah beach, there have some stall selling food, drink, souvenir, and water sports also available there, is a busy beach. There is not much attraction can go around, we have just bike around the island and visit Fu Lin Kong, Dutch Fort, beach and go for dinner at Ye Lin Restaurant which is famous, food quite delicious too. Others beach such as Coral Bay, Monkey bay, Turtle bay, Pasir Bogak, which can go around and view for sunset. Night time, we have borrow the sand mat, went to the Nipah beach for relaxing, and star watching, with the wind wave and sand craving.

Morning DIY breakfast is starting from 8.30am - 10.30am, there have eggs, pancakes, fruit, toast, with extra nasi lemak, which have already serve as a good breakfast. And after breakfast, we have good talk with Anuar, he is gentle, humble and willing to share his experience and story with this guest house and his family, impressed by him.

Due to time limit, we just spend one night here, which we feel is not sufficient, may go there again and for sure is highly recommended to others travelers too.

We loved everything about this place. The hosts Anouar and Alicia are fantastic hosts that have the ability to make you feel right at home.
The cottages are clean, nice and cozy. The breakfast is a great DIY-breakfast at the lovely patio with views of the surrounding hills and jungle, and oldies playing in the background.
The only regret we had about our stay is that we did not stay there longer. This was the best stay of the entire trip.

We agree with all of the wonderful things that other guests have said, so we will review Nipah from a family perspective.
Both Alicia and Anuar took time to get to know our kids, by the time we left we felt like we had become part of the Nipah family. This is a safe, healthy environment for families. The children played soccer in the large open space in front of the a-frames, as well as worked on school and art in the common space. We felt great because our children were able to be themselves, run around, play with A&A's little daughter and know that their presence was wanted there. Other traveling families will know how important this is. We enjoyed the DIY breakfast. The common area has a guest fridge so we made our own lunch using the available dishes and cutlery. A tip would be to go to one of the large supermarkets near Lumut (if possible) and stock up on a few things, as groceries are limited to the basics on the island.
It is a short walk to the nicer beach and the little village. Nice to be set off the main road as it is very quiet at night. Alicia and Anuar went out of their way to make sure that we had all we needed and were always able to offer tips on where to go to eat and even on where to go once we left Pangkor Island.
This kind and lovely couple are putting everything they are into this guesthouse and it shows! While there we were invited by other guests to join in their Italian feast they were making for A&A and we also got to celebrate Nipah's #2 Guesthouse in Malaysia Award from Trip Advisor. What fun! We planned to stay for one week, but stayed for 10 days.

After a trip trough India, Sri Lanka and the south of Malaysia, this felt like coming home. Anuar and Alicia, the owners, are very friendly and laidback and they just want you to have a good time.

The place is a little bit expensive if you're a budget traveler, but the breakfast and hospitality are the best we got in Asia (till now).

Chalets are charming, clean and good equipt with aircon and TV. Cold shower and only Wifi in the main area (which actually makes it more of lively place than when everybody would have wifi in the room).
