Didn't know about this place beforehand, but the parents wanted to go there for breakfast, so whatever. It's a pretty building, don't get me wrong but didn't have the energy to admire the decoration when you're busy stalking for an empty table on an empty stomach after going around the flea market before that.

Place was crazy crowded, but playing the ignorant tourist has its perks when you shamelessly stare down a table that's done eating so that they get up and leave, and take their table before anyone else does. This is not a place you go on your own.

One thing I didn't know until you pick up the business card is that they're open from 6.30 a.m. I'm sorry, but I'm not about to get up that early, even for dim sum.

What I did like was the order card that you take with you to pick stuff out so that they could mark your selections.

i used to love eating there... but since they move to this more modern style building, a lot of things change.

the dim sum taste not as good as before... then they serve more and more kinds of dim sum apart from the traditional ones... for the food personally i will rate 6.5 out of 10 which is slightly above average... not too bad or too good... during weekends is overcrowded because there is a saying that "you haven't been to ipoh if you haven't been to fu san"... but to me, an IPOHan, it's not really a must to give it a try...

regarding the service there are good and bad depends on the waiters you get... just that they don't really care to greet you with a smile if you don't mind...

Only one expression for the food in this restaurant - Salt and more salt!

We had a hard time eating the food here as most dishes and dim sum were way too salty for us. We liked the char siew though. The DimSum were definitely nothing to rave about, just mediocre. Nothing compared to the ones in Hong Kong. In fact, we had better dim sums at the coffee shops two streets away selling and they were much cheaper too. Definitely will not return here again.

This is the best of Ipoh's numerous dim sum houses. It's new location is giant and tastefully decorated. Good thing that the two-story restaurant is so large as there are hordes of people streaming through to sample varied and delicious dim sum treats.

Many varieties compare to Ming Court dimsum and reasonable. But the taste is not very consistent. Sometimes good and sometimes so so only...
It is a big place and if you have more people, recommend to choose this place.
Will be pack with many people during weekends and holidays.
