“Probably not worth the time!”
Reviewed October 29, 2012

Visited the Gunung Rapat Cave Temple. It was quite a few km away form the city centre and off the main road.

The experience was very average. This place is better suited for praying and probably not suitable as a tourist attraction.

“The best cave temple in Ipoh”
Reviewed September 6, 2012

This cave temple is well conservated and full of sculptures. It's nice going all the way up, because when you are in the top you feel like you are in a private garden, although the views were not really nice.If you are short of time, we recommend to visit only this one. It's really easy to arrive by public bus, jump on the bus going to Kuala Kangsar and let the driver know you where you are stopping; he will stop just in the front door.

“Beautiful”
Reviewed August 5, 2012

The caves was a lovely afternoon out. They were clean, cool and full of beautiful scuptured statues. If you do visit i reccomend wearing sensible footwear as the floor is slippery and steep. Outside there is an old woodern Malay hut which was magnificent. The kids loved the fish. It is donation only. There is a small play area outside.
