What I like about the hotel, it is decent and clean, car park spaces were ample.

What I do not like:
1. For the price we paid for a room, there should be a safety box made available in the room.
2. The bathroom is partitioned with frosted glass. It is weird to sleep next to it because you can actually see the "frosted" person seated on the toilet bowl next to you.
3. The shower was not provided with a shower curtain, which made the entire bathroom wet.
4. There was a very loud cranking noise outside our room that came on and off, and on and off over the night, making it so hard to go into a deep sleep.

It's hardly to find the hotel location, since it behind a huge building.
Friendly receptionist, have to refundable deposit of RM50 when check in, allowed late check out before 1 pm.
The room smelly since i check in a without window room, feel uncomfortable. Found ant's road on the wall, cant accept of this due bringing my son along; suggest the management to take care of this problem.
The bathroom was transparency, if stay with my husband still ok, not suitable for family room. Nice shower facility, Love it so much!

Room Tip: Suggest to choose a window room, to have fresh air. Same floor with reception counter is much better, not recommend basement room. .No lift, if take the higher floor not suitable for children and elderly.

From the main road, watch out for the hotel sign board as the hotel is situated behind the 1 Casuarina building. If you are driving, fear not as there are ample of car parks available.

Upon checking in, I was told my room was situated at the lower ground floor which I have to walk down. Not friendly for old-folks. Room is filled with gunny sack kind of smell and it stays throughout my entire stay and is very disturbing. Please fix the ventilation.Room has basic facilities example power kettle, shower cap, drinking water, towels and LCD TV equiped with ASTRO channels and Wi-Fi

Nothing to shout about the room as eventhough it looked clean, upon closer inspection, there are dusts around the bed frame area. Take note on this housekeeping staffs. Whereas the bath room is separated with a frosted glass door and you can somehow see what is going in there when you are at the toilet. Whereas for the shower area, it is equipped with a rain shower system with a strong water pressure. Good for bathing

There is no breakfast option in my room but the hotel has a restaurant which can visit for a wide variety of food option. Nearby the hotel there are few seafood restaurants available and further up the road you can visit Tai Thong restaurant food chain (Royal China for Chinese food & San Francisco Steak House for western food)

All in all, a good stay if without the strong gunny sack smell

Room Tip: + Ask for rooms on the ground floor which is the same floor as the receptionist if you are travelling with old-folks. Else be prepared to climb down the stairs

I stayed at this hotel with my son 5 months ago.
I'm stolen my PDP. It happened during our absence.
I explained my situation and asked hotel reports staffs. They called hotel manager.
He/She had not arrived hotel untillI I'was leaving. Instead he/she promised me send the hotel reports by e-mail. But, I have not received the mail and reports untill now.

I think the hotel is not to be trusted.

Ecotel is worth the money. I stayed in the standard king room (RM108 per night) for 4D/3N. Beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is very convenient which covered with not fully frosted glass walls. There is no breakfast at the hotel. Ecotel required RM50 refundable deposit per room during check-in. I would fully recommend this hotel in Ipoh for those who have their own transport and prioritize comfort and cleanliness.
