Whenever I come back to Ipoh, I must pay a visit to this hakka mee master since I really could not find any Hakka mee in other part of Malaysia that could match it. They have conducted the same business for over 30 years and till now, their taste and authenticity have never changed. Still as good as I first tasted when I was a kid.
It is located at Jalan Iskandar (previously known as Hugh Low Street or "Yau Loh Kai") and it has moved from the opposite shop to the current with their name changed from Yin Yau Kui to Restaurant Paris. Still the same team that managed the restaurant. Well, the Hakka noodle is really different from others. As usual, it is a dry flat noodle added lightly with oil & soya sauce but once you bite and taste it , you can't find it anywhere but here. It served with minced-pork, meat ball, fried stuff and toufu. And please, don't forget to eat it with the chilli sauce. Marvellous!!
The price is reasonable - 3 adults & 2 kids cost only around RM25. The place is quite crowded especially during holidays. Trust me...it is a must try food once you in Ipoh..
