Perak cave temple is nicer. This one has gots of statue animals where children will live to ride on for photos. If there is nice, visit both. If not, just go to perak cave temples. There are stairs going up, very dark, bring torch. But nothing up there except an enclosure .

“Definitely Worth a visit”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

We loved the cave and found it verty fascinating with the different paintings and different religious figures within it. Lots of steps to climb so wear good footwear. You need bus No. 66 to get you there and it takes about 20 mins. to arrive.

“Unique cave”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

This is my first time being in a cave temple and it was a good experience. I got to see many interesting looking stalagmites and stalactites, which we don't get to see it often nowadays. There's also a pond filled with turtles, if anyone is keen.

“Unique to Ipoh, temples in limestone caves”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

Cool to walk around thru limestone caves whilst appreciating the temple. A chance to feed the turtles (you have to purchase the tomatoes and kangkung at the temple entrance).

There is also a vegetarian restaurant in the premises, if you are so inclined to have a meal there.
