“Best satay in town”

The satay sauce is delicious with a variety of different meats to choose:
chicken, rabbit, mutton, beef. All are very good!

“So delicious you can eat it on its own”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 3, 2013

The chicken satay was fantastic. The seasoning and the meat tasted so good that you can literally just eat it on its own without dipping into the peanut sauce.

The peanut sauce, however, did not score well with my family.

Have been to kajang satay and I must say satay zul tasted better. A lot better in fact.

I am not a fan of beef satay but did try a stick. Meat was tender and the taste was good too. Only after eating did I realise they have fish satay as well. I wouldn't miss it though as the fish satay I had tried in Kajang was good enough to put me off fish satay for a long time to come...

They are only open at night from 6pm onwards.

“Average satay in Kuantan”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2013 via mobile

Ordered chicken and mutton satay. The chicken satay was good, very little fats and skin. Mutton satay was not well-cooked, meat was still abit raw.

“Uncooked (make sure you check before you eat)”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2013

Most of the Satay was good and cooked, however there was a few pieces with very pink raw chicken in, make sure you are sitting in the light so you can check each piece

“Surprisingly Good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2013 via mobile

We had dinner at Satay Zul. The place was easy to locate. Just alongside Vistana Hotel on Main Street heading towards Teluk Chempedak. We found out about the place on the web and based on the reviews we decided to check it out. Busy place however with two floors and fast service, we managed to get a table. We ordered 15 Chicken Satay, 4 Nasi Impit, 1 Nasi Lemak with eggs and 4 drinks = RM25. Cheap! The chicken satay and nasi impit was good. Nasi lemak was ok. Overall, good place to dine in Kuantan.
