“Good place to recall memories of our childhood”
Reviewed September 20, 2013

This is a small "museum-like" exhibition where you'll find the long lost items when we have seen as a small kid. You'll be surprised things like the old Milo tin, charcoal iron, old Dumex tin, TV in a box cabinet (those with sliding doors-if you know what I mean). If you are into antique stuffs, this place is definitely worth a visit!

“Ahh... The good old days...”
Reviewed September 14, 2013

This place made me smile and grin at times. It is like visiting a slower, gentler, Malaysia from 30 years ago. I wonder if 70s pop music would add to the atmosphere....

“Very comprehensive collection”
Reviewed September 1, 2013 via mobile

The collection is very rich, so many items from the past, we wouldn't have expected the time tunnel to be so vast. Memorabilia from he last century mainly, a very friendly curator and many interesting facts about Cameron Highlands. Really worth the visit and a cheap choice anyway. Also good for visiting with kids on a rainy afternoon.

“Reminiscing about the past”
Reviewed August 25, 2013

We hesitated at first paying RM5 per person but it was worth the amount. The guy at the entrance was funny introducing the place before we visited it (and all I was asking was the entrance fees).

They have a good collection of things from the past (especially old tin cans). We had fun thinking about how it used to be back then (our group were from the early 80's). Picture taking was fun. There was an old kopitiam, classroom, sewing room, kitchen, saloon and barber and even a mahjong room!

Should visit but not for young children. They wouldn't know how to appreciate it.

“Back to the Past”
Reviewed August 24, 2013

For the generation of the 60s, 70s and 80s, a lot of us can relate to the things that we see and witness here. It brings us back to the past, reminiscing on the things and small gadgets that we so once used and never did we complained how slow and unproductive they were until newer machines took over. Be advised, that due to the old collectibles they have in the long tunnelling room, the environment may emit a musty odour that to most, is a welcoming endurance coupled with the dimly lit ambiance.

From the old collections of soda bottles to toothpaste that still has paste in them, I was literally mesmerised with how they are so meticulous and arduous in attempting to gather one of perhaps the largest collections of oldies material that will ever be. Taking time in going thru the artefacts here will be a pleasant surprise and it kinda makes you relive the past and bring back all those joyful memories of how you once grow up. Well, at least it did for me too as a 90s kid as much of these things were still in trend back then.
