“Awesome”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

Choose Mr. Raju to be your tour guide! Then choose the real jungle trekking, not the wooden stairs pathway. Highly recommended place to visit and enjoy.

“Nice place”
Reviewed September 26, 2012

Nice to walk through this cool forest. There is a boardwalk so you don't get shoes wet or muddy. Lovely and green and some interesting plants. Nice when the clouds go past !

“A lost ancient misty forest(not so lost”
Reviewed September 23, 2012 via mobile

Mossy forest is a nice morning trek or tour. A guide can show you all the interesting plants, moss , orchids and trees. there s a Bord walk through and also some hidden paths that take you deeper in.

I suppose it depends where you are from on how much your going to enjoy it.

Tip
If you go with a guide and you get offered the butterfly garden. Avoid it!! It's a dingy mess with only one type of butterfly. There are no effort to create an atmosphere for them so they just wait on the branches to die. They also have repriles and mammals that are just in terrible conditions. I regret not taking any pictures as i have nothing to send to the local animal Welfare dept.

Don't support this place. It will only prolong the misery.

“Interesting moss-covered trees”
Reviewed September 12, 2012

Good for those who likes nature. Steps up and down, relatively easy climb. Up close to moss covered trees and cave-like moss over growth.

“Pitcher plants and local medicines”
Reviewed September 8, 2012

I want to know a little about local bush craft and signed up to a local guided tour. I was happily surprised. The young guide was a local, interested in his topic, pitched the tour to the interest level of the majority of visitors and was delighted to share some extra knowledge when asked to do so.

The tour was approx an hour on wooden walkways through the forest cover with sphagnum type moss. Medicinal, edible and cosmetic plants were pointed out. Pitcher plant mechanism explained.

I would not recommend this trail for people who have impaired mobility up and down stairs.
