“Slightly overrated”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

The green beauty is undeniable. The short hike up was also refreshing.

But other than that, there's nothing much to do, other than enjoying tea & light snacks uphill.

“Great location, Interesting overview on the tea process”
Reviewed March 19, 2013 via mobile

Highly recommended. The views are spectacular and the unguided but well signed factory tour gives a good overview of the tea process. It is worth taking the walk from the lower car park up to the tea factory not only for a close look at the tea bushes but also for a view of the platform built to house the restaurant/ shops. It is a superb design. Try and sit on a table at the front of the platform whilst drinking your way through the various types of tea on offer in the restaurant to really optimism your experience !

“cool, fresh and green”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

Boh Tea Plantation located at Sg Palas, Cameron Highlands. We wont never missed this place, because we can see from the main road, with big and clear signboards. This place with proper parking space. We went there for about 2 hrs just to see the beautiful scenery and went down follow the trails to explore the plantations. We did not go to the factory, we just relax at the restaurant, and have a cup of black coffee and english scones. The scones and hot masala tea was very delicious. After that we went to the shops to by something for my family and neighbors. I also bought a pot of tea tree because i want to plant at my house.

“nice view tea house”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

fresh air and nice view of the cameron highland, you can drive right up to the visitors centre, there are some parking area 300m before that. warning, roads are narrow.
Factory visit is pretty interesting, they will closed on monday.
Try to come early to beat the crowd, and get the seats outside for sure.
a great experience for me, but I didnt buy any tea home, cos they sell everywhere now.
and I like the Strawberry tart here.

“Splendid View”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

We went to the main estate in Habu. The Boh Tea Garden is open daily from 9am to 4.30pm, but closes on Mondays. Itns can be accessed using an 8km narrow route that starts from Habu district, 4km after Ringlet town or 6km away from Tanah Rata. A large signboard points at the detour along the main road, so it's not easy to miss the turning. The road is very narrow and winding. Drive slowly and do give a honk or two while negotiating a corner to let oncoming traffic know there is a car coming. The view along the way to the top was very beautiful.

We reached the tea garden after 20 minutes of driving. There is a Boh Tea Shop serving fresh tea and cakes for you to enjoy the ambiance. There is also small shop selling Boh products. If you're up for it, there is a trail to the top of the hill which starts behind the toilets. The view on top is even more breathtaking.

There is also a free guided factory tour of how the tea leaf is processed, however we were unlucky as the trip was cancelled as there is some machine breakdown causing the factory to stop its operations.
