I was skeptical about the restaurant when I first got in after reading the review in forum. I was then careful to ask for the price for each dish. It came up to be very reasonable. There were 9 of us, we ordered pork ribs, vegetables, eggs, chicken. The bill is Rm87. The portion is just nice.

Typical steamboat restaurant using charcoal. It's refreshing having hot soupy broth on a cold day!

The lady boss is very accommodating and friendly. She even offered us 10% off the bill as we stayed at the apartment, which we believed is her property.

Steamboat ingredients is very basic, few pieces of prawns, fishballs, chicken slices, and lots of veges (free flow of veges) and soup base is chicken which i find could use a bit more flavour.

Total bill for 4 pax comes to RM54 nett after discount.

Ordered steamboat for 3 pax which cost Rm18 per pax. Thought it was a good price but alas it is not! The portions of food are very little. Chicken meat- 5 pcs (0.5 inches x 3 inches)! The Chinese cabbage turned brown on the edges which it was sliced! One can of 100plus is RM4.00 each. Service is deplorable.
It's really a ripped off!! Never come here! They just want to make a quick buck!

Was there during dinner time. This restaurant were quiet compare with neighbouring shops which were crowded. As my family members were hungry, we decided to choose this restaurant to avoid long wait. We ordered steamboat set. Was told by the lady boss each adult cost RM15 ringgits and children RM10. The quantity of the food were little as we were soon find out. When the bill came, we were told to add RM3 per person because we chosen charcoal steamboat instead of normal steamboat! Imagine paying extra RM12 for something that the restaurant offered. Our next table have 20 persons in the group and we overheard them paying extra RM60! We spent 4 nights on the highland and the 2nd restaurant we visited during the next night make me realise we were ripped off the quantity of the food. Will review the 2nd restaurant in another posting.
