I had urgent meeting and did last minute phone booking, thank god there are still rooms available. Arrived very late and the checkin was smooth. Clean room, comfy bed, nice breakfast and good service are all you need in a good hotel. Totally recommend it! Not to forget, they let us check out late (2pm) since my work ends at 1pm - not like some other hotel who loves to chase you out of the room at 12pm.

The hotel is only a few minutes walk from Seremban town centre. Although the building itself has been there for quite awhile, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and the staff are mostly friendly. We stayed here for a couple of weeks on a training course. There is an in-house band which performs every night if you prefer to be at the hotel, or you can walk to town to find food and "teh tarik". There is a different theme for food at dinner everyday but we were rather disappointed they do not have many "negeri" or local dishes on offer.

We had an business meeting for 2 days at Royale Bintang Seremban, The food on day 1 was not as what we expected, but day 2 cover it all, the chef done a good job by improving the taste of the "minang food".

I felt a bit uncomfortable with the washroom (toilet), no pipe hose provided especially for Muslim in my room. Both me and my collegue have to run down to the toilet near the cafe. It's a shame when we living in Malaysia but the toilet just like in London.

Why did the hotel provide a good food when the amenities really poor?

I would not recommend this hotel to my family as they will not feel comfortable staying there.

Room Tip: Please make sure get a room with good amenities.

Book the club room..
Check in at 1pm (speedy check in: very good)
Access to club lounge..
Private morning breakfast and eve cocktail is ok; not bad but very minimal choice of food..

Room is very spacious..
Decor / materials is bit dated..

Pool is clean; but location is very next to the coffee house; so not so private...

Stayed here just for a night during festive season.
Checked-in smoohtly, got upgraded to executive room, happy.
Room is spacious and clean with comfartable bed.
It is true they have limited TV English Channels, not suitable for non-locals.
There is a bar in the hotel which has a band performing at night (think only on weekends) but drinks are rather overpriced in Seremban and singing was not so good..
Did not try the pool as it was full of kids.
Breakfast - poor food quality, limited selection, food such as fried noodes were not kept warm
Checked-out smoothly

Overall it's an ok stay, we think the room is comfortable but the rest is so-so.
For Royale Bintang standards, it should be better...

This hotel should not be promoted as a 5 star hotel and certainly not worth the money we paid
for. We were very disappointed with the overall services given. The staff looked so unmotivated at the reception and not interested in their work. They did not seem to understand English. They were not professional at all. One of them was using his mobile phone to text whilst attending to our needs. The hotel corridors was so hot and almost seemed like it had the air conditioner switched off. On our 1st night staying there, we noticed the bathroom floor was wet and saw water dripping from the walls. We were woken up by this loud vibrating noise coming from the air conditioner. This hotel seemed very run down with very unmotivated staff running the show!

We stayed here on Christmas night, on a whim, and booked directly on their website only to be told at reception that they cannot find our booking. We showed them the pdf itinerary and after a short argument, they honoured our "special price". Unperturbed, we went to our executive room on the 11th floor (non smoking) and found it rather pleasant. It was clean and big, with a spacious and spotless bathroom - our room had a brilliant view to boot! So we thought it was all good. How terribly wrong we were.

The hotel serves "cocktails" from 6-8pm at the lounge on level 10 and we headed there bang on at 6pm and saw that it was deserted. They had sushi, a range of fruit, some festive cakes (it's Christmas after all) and the only drinks available were juices and coffee/tea. I don't drink, but alcohol would've probably made it better and there was none in sight!

The channels they have on the TV are very limited, and the only one worth watching to us was Cartoon Network and Star, and these channels kept repeating shows (I swear we watched Glee's xmas specials 4 times in less than 24 hours!) which was really boring. Our sleep though was quite comfortable, that is until there was a series of knocks on the walls at an ungodly hour which we couldn't make out where it came from! Surely, being at the toppest floor would've helped keep everything quiet! Needless to say, after that, we couldn't go back to sleep.

Breakfast was even more of a disaster. We arrived at 10am for breakfast, and again the food is served in the lounge for executive rooms (I don't see why they bother, just serve it downstairs since almost everybody stays in executive anyway!) and the place was a complete MESS. Tables hadn't been cleared, there was little to no food at all in the buffet, and staff were just faffing about more intent on "pleasing customers" than actually clearing up the tables and making sure there's food around! We sat there for the full 30 minutes and they did not clear a SINGLE table while we were there, and it was so unappetising to sit there. I had a strong word with one of the girls who kept worrying that I was having a bad time, and trying to get me some tea where I would've been much happier if she just did her job keeping the place tidy!

Needless to say, we had nothing but bad feelings after this stay. I don't think I've ever had such ill feelings towards a place, even more so because we expected luxury paying what we did. Word of advice : this is the only 4 star hotel near the city, and since Seremban has little to nothing to offer, I say skip the place unless you have engagements in this city. Run away, run as fast as you can. I will never come back and this is probably the last time I'll be talking about this place.

Room Tip: If you really must come, book executive but ask for breakfast in the restaurant. Don't bother wi...
