“Lovely but major plastic waste problem”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2012

Last stop on the island hopping tour which is worth doing. Looks gorgeous when arriving by boat but that feeling soon disappears when you see all the plastic waste amongst the trees on the shoreline and the beach in general. Obviously this is washed up but seriously distracts from the beautiful location.

“Quite average - nothing new”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 23, 2011

The beach has good clean white sand, apart from that nothing really new ... the water sport activities stop after 4 so make sure you visit early.

Snorkeling is also there, but that too largely depends on the water level ... the real problem is that there are no toilets or changing areas.

“Fun with lesser crowd”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 23, 2011

Too many people on the island aking d beach too crowded.
We had to walk to a less crowded area but the area had more rocks/corals etc. Despite that d waves was good and water is clearer. Just need to be careful that you dont step on corals or sea urchin.
Boats are free to park very near the beach so it was rather irritating and dangerous! Water sports available on the beach but prices are a little too high. They said you can snorkle there but seriously nothing much too see. Oh ya, lovely sand, soft and white.

“Cleaner version of Port Dickson 20 years back”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 20, 2011

This island is the last stop in any island hopping tour you choose. First it will be the Dayang Bunting Lake, Eagle Feeding and Bras Basah Island. We booked a boat for ourselves and it cost me 250.
I feel the beach was clean but with no garbage bins, litter can be found assimilated with the tiny sand crabs..Pity how Malaysians care for the environment.

The worst part is there were no bathrooms whatsoever, so if you take a dip, you will be wet and cold till you reach your hotel. And they have public signs all over the place reminding you of no TOILET.

They were shops selling snacks.I wondered where the sales persons pooped.

They were so many rocks in the sea that it scrapped my feet and it still hurts. Went there on the 12 of December and 20 today. You have to look down all the time and the amount of rocks just hampered my mood.

The sand is white and clean but the water is not as blue and clear as Pulau Redang. It looked like the waters of Port Dickson 20 years ago. Pale green and clear enough till you reach waist deep.

The strong wind is also a trouble. We had to push and prod the boat in the heavy wind/waves just to climb in. And the parasailing was closed due to the wind,
Skip this one.
