“A run down & dated "theme" park with a dire needs for renovation”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

We had to go into the oriental village when taking the cable car ride. First image, dirty, old, hardly any shop with decent goods to buy. Restaurants were closed. There is a rabbit petting "mini zoo", we saw ponies available for rides & that's about all. This place needs a renovation & some cleaners desperately.

“Nice place to relax for a few hours”
Reviewed December 14, 2012

Have been here several times now. It has many shops selling touristy items, as well as clothes, shoes, handbags etc.
Its also the place that you go to go to the cable car. Now this was a wonderful experience and well worth the time and effort to get there.
Village is pretty, with a lake and bridges to cross over.
I also had my 1st experience on a segway. 1/2 hour for rm17 each. Now this is fun. They give you a short lesson first. I got the hang of it quickly, but hubby took a while. An instructor is always with you. You go around the village footpaths, over the quaint bridges and around the outskirts of the village.
There is not a lot of shade in the village, so it can get very hot and humid.
Go early for the cable car as the queue can be quite long later on in the morning.

“Sad-looking tourist attraction ...”
Reviewed October 31, 2012 via mobile

Reminiscent an old cow boy town back in the 1800s in old America. If not for the base to take the cable car, would not have bothered to visit. A sad sad sight, poorly-planned, tacky-looking concrete buildings, no proper coordination on the tenants selling their wares ... If this is the best Malaysian tourism is, then Thailand would take first spot - year after year.

“Good place for family if you're already at Berjaya resort.”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

This was an excellent place for my family with two young children. They had fun feeding the fish and ducks, horse riding, photo-taking with the snake and lots of shops selling ice-cream! It was convenient for us as we stayed at Berjaya resort and they provided free shuttle to and from the village. The highlight would be the cable car ride. We frequent the village as it was convenient for us (in terms of distance). There were a few eating places with many many souvenir shops for tourists.

“just a nice and clean place to visit”
Reviewed October 5, 2012

Its not something special for me but its nice and clean place to visit. You can walk around , have a launch or shopping gifts. The most excited thing was the real eagle bird. Its really amazing to see that kind of bird from so close
