“Great experience!”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

The Cable Car must be on your to-do list for Langkawi! The line was moderately long when we arrived, but it moved quickly. The ride itself is spectacular! Very steep and positioned over the mountain, you get an amazing view of the island. There are 2 stations to get off along the way to enjoy the observation decks. Bring your camera!
For 30RM, it is money well spent on an unforgettable experience!

“Extraordinary, out of this world views”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

Nearly touching the sky and being able to see the birds riding the air currents. Disappointed the air bridge is still not open - what's with that? It is a main attraction but no one can get on it.

“Enjoyable ride”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

The main attraction is the ride itself. It's steep, long and 700 m above sea level at the top. For those who are afraid of heights, it could be a lil bit scary at first but it's perfectly safe. So don't be afraid to open your eyes and enjoy the amazing views and snap a few pictures (strong winds may push the cabin sideways but hey, that's where the fun is!). The best times to go are early in the morning (while it's not too hot) and late evening to catch the sunset. On a good day, the views can be spectacular. On a bad day, it can be cloudy. The queue for the ride can be very long, so be prepared for that.

“Wow, what a view”
Reviewed April 10, 2013

It cost 30MYR for an adult which is very reasonable. There are two stops. One is located at the top of a mountain and the views are amazing on a clear day. The other stop is on the next mountain along and is 700mts above sea level. A must do in Langkawi

“Fantastic views!”
Reviewed April 9, 2013

It is a must in Langkawi. It is located on the southwestern coast of the main island of Langkawi, is just a 30 minutes drive from Kuah town and 15 minutes drive from Langkawi International Airport. You can catch the ride at the Oriental village. The price is RM$30 for adults and $20 for kids. Either start the ride very early or after 3pm cause there is a very long queue even on the weekdays (expect over 50min waiting time with no air-con). The ride itself is truly amazing with views of the rainforest and the sea. There is a middle station where you can look at the eastern cliffs with its 3 vertical chimneys and the beautiful 360-degree views. The top station has two viewing platforms (708m above sea level) with spectacular 360-degree panoramic views of the Langkawi islands.

It was a very enjoyable ride and I believed it is the steepest cable car in the world.

SkyBridge is closed. It has been closed for over a half year. I wonder if they will ever open it again.
