I liked this as it was the most quiet waterfall I visited but obviously this will change for everyone. I only had about 5 people there and they all left shortly after.

It was the dry season though so the waterfalls are probably not so busy as they would be in the wet season when the water is flowing more.

The climb might be difficult for elderly people, especially on the way down with wet shoes or wet feet.

It’s indeed a lovely place but you won’t see water gushing down like in the movies. We came when the skies were clear so when we reached, there was only a trickle of water.

What’s disappointing is actually human pollution. There were tissue paper everywhere on the tree branches. And on the rocks, were litter! Cigarette butts, and food waste, empty plastic bottles. When we went, it wasn’t even crowded but I was very upset with inconsiderate behaviour of people visiting the place. Perhaps what the authorities could do is provide a place to dispose litter nearby though it’ll be a nightmare in terms of clearing them all the time.

That said, the waterfall itself is nice and cool and a place to soak in. There are tiers. We went to the Highest tier to swim in instead of the lower tier. Come here in the late afternoon to avoid hordes of people visiting the place.

Specular view of the Waterfall. Do come during the wet season as there will be less water during the dry season. A short walk of 5 minutes is required to reach the waterfall

This is one of my most memorable views of Langkawi. It is well worth the 5 minute climb to swim in the pool.
The kids loved it when a group of monkeys passed us on the way back down! It is quite narrow and steep at times.

The waterfall is quite nice although very small. You can swim in it but there are lots of locals visiting so it is very crowded
