“Remote location, no beach, savages for staff- regretable experienc”
Reviewed November 9, 2012

The pictures in the hotel site led us to believe that they have beaches and felt cheated to realise when we arrived that it doesnt have any access to the beach from the hotel. Its so located in so remote a place that there is no restaurant, shopping place around the hotel. The restaurant is expensive that dishes out pathetic food which comes after long wait. The room is rudimentary and lesser said about the bath room, its better. The tour services were extremely overpriced. The staffes were indifferent and grumpy. The whole place had a rundown feel and the feel of a trap for asking for money even for a request for an extra towel!! Regret that we booked in this place. The stay there spoilt our holiday.

You dont stay there else will regret like us.

Room Tip: Dont go there.

we arrived after a short flight. taxi from airport was easy and quick. we had booked a seaview premier room. As mentioned in several reviews there was a smell in rooms but this seemed to disappear after a while. the views were absolutely stunning and changed every time you looked out the window. The room itself was fairly large with enough storage space for us. we only ate breakfast in the hotel . we found there to be plenty of choice and were able to find things that we both enjoyed. The hotel was only a short taxi ride into the town where there were plenty of good resturants. we had an island tour and enjoyed the views of the sky bridge. were slightly disappointed that we were not able to walk on the bridge. Over all we enjoyed our short stay and would possibly return if we were to visit langkawi again. internet charges were quite expensive. the balcony was hugh and would have benefited from a sun lounger or ay least a comfy chair

Room Tip: A seaview room

We ( my hubby , son -4 yrs old then and me) stayed in this hotel in 2011. It has the most beautiful sunrise and the sunset . your heart will drop and melt away in the sea breeze with such an ambient room atmosphere .we stayed in a room with 2 queen size beds . although the room looked simple but it was very comfortable and clean . you can sit at the balcony in the night and enjoy the beautiful seaview and enjoy your drink , the staffs were very friendly and helpful . the room service was excellent .although there is no beach for swimming but they have a very personalized swimming pool for both adult and children. their buffet breakfast spread was beautiful my son really enjoyed the breakfast everyday. Sightseeing and islang hopping can be arranged with the hotel . they even take you to the nearest private beach for swimming . All you have to do is just ask .away from busy town . Suggested excellent for honeymoon couples as we felt like it was our second honeymoon. We rented a car at the airport and it was very near to town from the place if you drive

Room Tip: choose sea view rooms facinf the sea

We stayed in this hotel last year. The hotel is worth the price. Not very expensive.Great view from your room .you just feel as if you are on the sea.In the morning beautiful sunrise you can see from your room window.Rooms are very basic.when dinner which is served on their deck it looks so good with lights in the night.situated at a very peaceful place but then at then same time not far from the nightlife.Just takes you 5-10 min by car.

Room Tip: ask for sea view room

A great location in Langkawi away from the main beach, yet beautiful ocean views. Secluded and peaceful. Great for any occassion and any group of travellers. The pool is great, there is also a seperate pool for the younger ones. Plenty of car park available if you choose to drive which is definetly recommended in Langkawi. Staff are very friendly and always willing to help. Ask for Teressa Liew, she is the front office manager, she was very welcoming and of great support at all times.
Even Though I travelled with my students on this occassion I would definetly go there again with my family. You are literally 2 minutes awy from the main road.

Room Tip: Any room that overlooks the ocean is beautiful. Ensure to request a verandah as well :)

When we stepped out from the car with 3 heavy luggage bags, no one came approached us to help. The room that we booked was deluxe seaview, room 4101, was at 1st floor and at the end of the wing. Assistance from a staff will be great during the check in and check out time.

I stayed here back in 2011 and the location is superb and view from the rooms is also awesome. One of the nicest and calm place to stay and best part is it is situated at the one end of the Island so if you want skip all that noise you can choose this.
