I visited this restaurant last month (August, 2013).This restaurant is run by a Pakistani person. The looks of the restaurant are like a street side food stall. They have open air seating arrangements as well. They prepare tandoori and Malay food items. The food is definitely tasty and the price is not a pain to the pocket.
The tandoori items are very tasty and the naan rotis are simply mouth watering. Many European tourists try out Tandoori in this restaurant. I have tasted Nasi Goreng rice and Rice Chicken Curry in Malay style and they were really delicious. Besides this I have tried butter naan with Chicken Keema Masala(Shredded chicken spicy curry), chicken tandoori and different types of kebabs and they tasted really awesome.
You will find names of certain items starting with the word "Ayam" which means chicken in Malay. You will also find beef, pork and squid items. They also different types of milk shakes.and tea and coffee as well.
If you are looking for a posh ambiance, then this is not the restaurant for you but for tasty and good food at budget friendly prices, this is the right choice. The menus here would suit Indians Arabians, Pakistanis and South-East Asian citizens but those who want to try tandoor can definitely visit this place. A satisfactory, stomach filling dinner with a milk shake would cost around RM 8 to RM 12.
The restaurant is located near a Mosque on the opposite side of Hotel Citin.
