Our hotel (La Pari Pari helped recommend and signed us up for the trip with East Marine). Staff were very friendly and makes you feel at ease. Pick up was right on time and the driver was very enthusiastic and pleasant! As such, we managed to set off to sea on the dot. The ferry ride was really enjoyable as we were allowed onto the open upper deck when the ferry reached deeper waters. Snorkeling gears are a little old but still functional. Would be good to have your own. There was no tutorial for first-time snorkelers or at least there weren't any for those of us who were up on the upper deck. Not too sure if the rest were being briefed but it is really simple. The staff were firm about safety measures which I thought was a really good thing even though it may be a little restrictive. Other than that, we were mostly left on our own to explore the waters. Lunch provided was pretty good, especially because we were starving by the time we were done snorkeling. The staff were really helpful and warm and funny and shared a lot of tips with us like where to view the really big reef sharks (reef sharks don't bite) and how we can feed the fishes so as to get great pictures of them in the very clear waters. Extremely efficient crew that made the entire experience very seamless and worry-free. :D
