For dinner, we spend ~500MYR for a dish of butter prawns (just 5 prawns), lamb cutlets, rice and two desserts for two pax. I guess we are captive audience (resort is far from everywhere else) and dont have much bargaining power.
i find it way too expensive for local food ...

There's a lot of Restaurant in Langkawi and Ikan-Ikan is one of the recommendations from my friends from malaysia...On our Last night at the resort after having cocktails at Rhu Bar we went to ikan Ikan to have our Last night dinner..It was a very happy and memorable dinner for me and my partner. The service is great...the food oh my is really delicious, the servers are very knowledgeable about the menu and they give recommendations. The restaurant itself is very nice, the interior and the designs are all authentic malaysian design. It a one happy evening that time and the most important of it all the experience and the memory that it gives was sure a treasure for us.

We went to Ikan-Ikan on the day they held their Fisherman and Farmer special and so it was a buffet. To start off, the staff remembered us by name, seated us promptly. Raymond, then took us on a tour of the buffet explaining every food item and needless to say we enjoyed the meal. They took exceptional care of our kids as well during the meal. Highly recommend.

Lovely time at the restaurant. Food was delicious - they might look familiar like any other food Malay food, but the taste and presentation were definitely extraordinary with class! The restaurant is well decorated with romantic ambience. Staff displayed wonderful hospitality. The tall-looking staff even remembered us and came to greet us the next morning while we were having breakfast at the Serai Restaurant at Four Seasons.

The restaurant is quiet and romantic. The service, great with a big smile. Very polite and quiet. The food was just stunning. I ordered Crab Cakes for starters and shared with the wife. Perfect Crab Cakes. The Honey Red Snapper was just a complete delight (large dish too, no bones) and the fish fried rice is heavenly. I loved this place and highly recommend it.
