We visited Langkawi Wildlife Park on a Friday while in Langkawi. We were a bit at a loss at what to do since many attractions are closed on a Friday since it is the Islamic day of rest. We paid about RM33 per adult for entrance. Upon entrance you get a little bag with different types of food you can use to feed the different animals at the park. The animals ranged from parrots, ducks, donkeys, ostriches, monkeys and crocodiles. Although we have been to many animal parks and zoos before we thoroughly enjoyed this park as you can feed most of the animals such as the parrots, monkeys, budgies and donkeys. They also have rabbits you can pick up and pet a bit. We spent approximately 3 hours there but it felt much shorter. At the end you can purchase a photo of yourself against many different backgrounds, but we found it a bit pricey at about RM50. The staff was very friendly and helpful in getting the animals go come eat from our hands. I can definitely recommend it to anyone, but kids will love it! On the way out there is first a souvenir shop and then a duty-free shop. There are no taxis there, so make arrangements with your taxi driver beforehand.

Don't expect too much. It's kind of a mini Zoo and even with kids rather a "nice to have", specifically if thy have seen a grown-up zoo before. Even they may laugh. But then it can be kind of a killing time even and the black sand beach is not far away.

Cost RM15 with Mykad. You can buy the foods from the stall near the entrance to feed the birds and other animals. I had more fun here than in the Underwater World.

We visited here on our last day, we hadn't planned to visit as we didn't expect it to be worth while for us as a mature couple, but how wrong we were, the staff are very helpful and on hand to answer any questions you may have. There is an amazing variety of birds and various other animals, well worth a visit.

The wildlife park was really good. The animals seemed well looked after and well fed. I got to feed some budgies and my younger sister did too. We also fed parrots with peanuts from our hand. The parrots were very gentle eaters. We fed rabbits with cabbage & tomatoes. There were two crocodiles and one was gigantic. We saw (and fed) mouse deer which are the worlds smallest cloven footed animal..At the end, I had my photograph taken with a Langkawi Eagle perched on my arm
