The beef rendang was great, the butter chicken was amazing, the fish sambal was to die for!
The prices are very reasonable and the setting is divine at sunset.
Do yourself a favour - book a table and a taxi or you will never discover one of the best dining experiences in Langkawi.

We have been here several times and we were not dissappointed at any time.
Jimmy is excellent cook, and the food served was super delicious!
We have only tried the local dishes , yet to try the western menu. If you are looking for Indian food and if you are around Padang Matsirat - then this is the restaurant you should go to.
The rendang is tasty as the beef pasanda- must try!

Jimmy 's menu is very versatile - it consists Malay, Indian (mostly northern indian dishes), Chinese and western as well. Pizza and Pastas are also served here.

As you enjoy your breakfast/lunch/dinner you can enjoy the beautiful green scenery as well. This place is hidden but it's a real gem! It's a one man show but Jimmy is excellent chef , you never have to wait long. Service and hospitality is great- but most of all the food served here is one of the best!

As for the price it's very reasonable.

Highly recommended!

We visited Jimmy and his family and spent the afternoon learning how to prepare and cook Malaysian dishes. Jimmy made us very welcome, as did his wife Pia. We have loads of new dishes to try out when we return to the UK. The setting is lovely and a visit there is a must.

After you meet Jimmy, Pia and their daughters, you feel like you're part of the family. Jimmy is a fabulous cook and Pia (his wife) the perfect host. We have a 21 month old who didn't want to sleep, so my wife was trying to tire her out. As our food came, rather than it get cold, Jimmy, then his daughter took turns walking our little girl in her pram til she fell asleep. Now that's service!! On to the food, if you love your curries, then you'll love Jimmy's curries. Wow. They also have a huge selection of other style of dishes, so you're sure to find something.

Get there before sunset if you can, as sitting amongst padi fields, watching the sun set behind the hills is really magical. We had a wonderful evening at Pia's and it certainly was a highlight of the trip that will be a lasting memory.

Great Place! We went twice. The owner Jimmy is a lovely guy and made us very welcome. The meal and setting were terrific, then we went back a few days later to take part in a 7 person cooking lesson. Definitely worth doing. Now I have lots of recipe's to try at home.
