“Indian Cuisine with a Kick!”
Reviewed August 26, 2013

The Palace D India, an ideal Indian cuisine restaurant situated at the Main Cenang Street is a must visit especially for lovers of rich Indian cuisine. The restaurant unlike most posh indian restaurants is situated on a beach with an open dining concept catering for people who would love to experience posh dining and service in an informal / casual ambience.

What i was pleased most was with the fact that they had a variety of delicious, tasty South Indian and North Indian food we could choose from. You name it, from freshly clay toasted naans to a spicy sizzling briyani platter. The simply succulent meat and seafood were cooked to perfection with a blend of rich aromatic Indian spices to taste.

In addition to all of the above..... we thought it was Quality food that is fairly priced.
Try something like this in Kuala Lumpur and you'd have a hole in your pockets. Hence i personally feel that this is an excellent place to dine in if you are looking for some chill out indian restaurant with good food.

Do try the fresh naans, the paneer butter masala and the sizzling prawn briyani. Finger licking good indeed. A place worth coming back to :)

Kudos Palace D India.

“Second worse Indian meal I've ever had”
Reviewed March 30, 2013

Just an absolute grease fest. The vindaloo had no spice in it. The masala looked and tasted exactly like the vinadaloo. I feel sick but not sick enough to write this review. The staff we're really nice though. Great place for a chat, awful place for a meal.

“Indian food at its best!”
Reviewed January 5, 2013

We have a very positive experience from this restaurant. The location is good, and we enjoyed the atmosphere in the restaurant. The waiter explained about the food, and asked what kind of food we wanted to try, dry curry, types of bread, what kind of meat we preferred, if we wanted spicy or non-spicy food - Excellent!

We had veggie samosa as a starter, and then tikka masala and mutton curry, plain naan bread, and plain rice - the food was very tasty and delicious. The portions were big, and the prices were very descent.

Overall, the food was great with a very good pricing, excellent service and friendly staff.

“As the name suggests, the food is Indian!”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

The restaurant's name is nowadays India Palace (still located with Malibest Resort). Food was ok and the menu has English descriptions for the dishes, indicating which are spicy. Mostly Indian food on the menu, even though the sign says Western/Italian/Chinese/Indian. WIth cheap 55 RM wine for three, two curries, rice and naan, our bill was about 60 RM per person. Service was good but they kept us westerners waiting before giving is the bill (the restaurant wasn't full). No toilet paper for the sit-down toilets but a water hose.
