My partner and I smelt Papadam Ria before we saw it, a delicious waft of spice and a hot tandoori oven. We were coming up from Cenang beach and decided we had to come back to investigate what delicacies could be the source of such aromas! We did and were not disappointed. We had the poori, tikka paneer (a dish I haven't found anywhere else), dahl and steamed rice. Everything was delectable! The poori bread was light, crispy on the outside while gooey inside. The dahl was tangy and delicious, the tikka paneer smokey and flavoursome from the oven. Even the rice seemed above the ordinary in taste. We were very satisfied with the portions and the price was very good, particularly compared to most of the restaurants on Cennang beach who charge similar rates but do not deliver anywhere near the same standard of wholesome, authentic and tasty food. The staff were very kind and courteous, the premises were very clean and cool. The food did take some time to reach us but you can't hurry magic! We would definitely go again and heartily recommend a visit.
