If you're determined to have a quick meal pre or post shopping at this Tesco branch in Alor Setar, then Noodle Station would be your best bet. Though at times their staff's lackadaisical attitude may get to your nerves, generally the services has improved over the past few years. There are at times that you have to repeat your orders clearly and denote what you really want before reemphasising again as they can mess up your orders. Chances of these errors are still there despite all the clarity being made in advance.

Ambiance is generally okay, though there is one table that is located right near to the order counter which makes it pretty uncomfortable to dine when the staffs are standing right in front of you. Food here is pretty average and depending on the spice level that you desire, there is always that add-ons that you can put with the available spices on the table. The beverages here however boasts quite a variety of selection so it will definitely take quite some time before you could experiment all of them.

Be cautioned that some drinks come in huge sizes so be certain that you enquire about them before placing your order lest you get shocked (some beverages can literally be shared amongst three individuals). Aside from that, the food is value for money, and by far the next best fastest food you can have in Tesco Mergong aside from KFC.

The star of the restaurant is of course their famous springy noodles, with a variety of presentation to suit your taste bud, be it dry or soupy, savory or spicy - take your pick. On the other hand, rice is also on the menu, besides the obvious available choice. One thing they could improve on is the consistency of the food, especially the fried rice - the Tom Yam fried rice tasted wonderfully spicy and with all its 'tomyamness" one day but on another occasion, it was bland and tasteless. Service is OK, nothing bad but there were nothing particularly memorable or spectacular either. I have been to this place several times and I must say they are doing a good job in maintaining the cleanliness and the ambiance in the dining area.

This is a nice restaurant with a nice layout in tiny remote Alor Setar. But, food quality probably depends on the mood of the chef. It can be quite good to not very good. Service is found wanting with one particular occasion where the waters and waitresses are fooling and relak-ing beside us ( the only customers then ). It is pricey too but hey, food in Alor Setar generally is not cheap at all!

Delicious hokkien mee ,fried kuey tiaow, and lakna noodles. The provided condiments especially the pickled green chilies compliment the tasty noodles even more. Furthermore, the dishes are halal and toiyibba. Eat, enjoy without worries. I frequent this restaurant once to twice a week.
