“Amazing Temple”
Reviewed November 3, 2013

It is very hard to get to this temple we need to park at the road side then walk some distance before reaching the temple. It is fully sponsored by hindu devotee. I was amazed by their faith to build such a beautiful temple. It not only have hindu god. It have Buddha and Jesus status too. You should visit to experience it. It was very famous among foreigner but not Johorian.

“A wonderful temple unlike any I've visited anywhere else.”
Reviewed October 30, 2013

The Arulmigu Sir Rajakaliamman Glass Temple is magnficient. From the outside it looks like some of the other temples in Johor as there are carvings on the outside and, if you look closely, there are some in the form of pregnant women. This is important because of the reason of the temple.

it costs 10RM to enter and it also cost .5RM to have a shoe locker...however, we didn't have to pay for it and the attendant smiled and told us we could use our camera in certain areas. Another man walked us into the temple and told us where we should not use our camera.

We were stunned by the beauty and the fantastic craftsmenship of the temple. It was brilliant and gorgeous inside.

There are many altars and there are statues of leaders of different religion including Jesus and Mother Theresa. It was surprising to see other religions and the statues.

We took a lot pictures, bought a bracelet for my girlfriend (all money goes to donation to keep the temple from being destroyed) and then asked one of the men to take our picture. He ended up taking about 50 pictures of us all over the temple, including a few places that we were told not to take pictures, and was incredibly nice.

He, and a few other of the men, were there from India and were on a 2 year program to work at the temple.

I recommend this temple without reservation and make sure to talk to the people working there, buy a bracelet or something, and spend time out here and just enjoy the quiet and peacefulness of it.

“Extra ordinary temple”
Reviewed October 20, 2013

The temple is amazing because of 2 reasons: made from glass and there are some statues of non-Hinduism reigion leader such as : Jesus Christ, mother Teresa, Sai Baba, Buddha. The access to the location is quite difficult. Entering fee is 10 MYR per person.
