“Excellent Glass work”
Reviewed August 6, 2013

I visited the Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple during June 2013, Excellent glass work .The volunteers at the temple are so kind & helping .we r allowed to take pictures inside the temple (except the main deity) .A must visit for all tourists. travelling from Kualalumpur by bus takes 5 hrs . we have frequent buses from the city center TBS bus station .the first bus leaves by 6.30 am.after reaching Johar bahru (Larkin bus station) you must take a bus to city square bus station .From there it is just 15 mints walk only.or we can engage a taxi which costs only 10 MYR.while returning there are many buses available near the temple direct to Larkin bus station. there is another Hindu temple nearby (SRI Dhandayuthapani temple) .The glass temple is open from morning till evening but other temples close by 12 noon& open again by 4pm .the temple is kept very clean. They offered noon meals to the visitors during my visit( it was on Father's day) .shrines for Lord Muruga ,Lord Vishnu & Goddess Makaliamman are inside the temple decorated with beautiful glasses. Except the floor every place is decorated with colourful glasses. The history of the temple also available as CD & also in booklet form.

“Not Worth At All”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

We went there during the day but it was nothing, nobody was there to ask the information, not even a sign when is the opening time, or other basic information, no sign of life.. it was just closed! the only infos is tourists are welcome with 10 RM entrance fee, that's all? What we feel while we were there just a dusty, hot, dirty and stinky place. The building just a normal temple, nothing special feeling even with the glasses all around the temple. So it's not worth at all to go there, not even worth to think about to visit that temple.

“AWESOME...”
Reviewed July 18, 2013

after hearing the name, i thought it is a temple made of glass... same like the taj mahal made of marble. actually, it is decorated with small coloured glass/mirror in various intricate designs. the whole temple is brimming with a godly ambience, with all the crowd, it was still peaceful inside it! even the ceilings have this works of art embedded in it. truly beautiful, do not miss it.

“Tourists are Welcome”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

We went there not knowing if we can go in. The people who worship there instructed us what to do and welcomed us. Washing of feet and going barefoot. We got there early in the morning so there was still chanting while we go around. I think these temples are really works of art.
