Reasonably sized room. Comes with ironing board, safe, flat screen TV with not many international channels. Coffee / tea making facility, mini fridge and free wifi.

Bath toiletries include toothbrush, body soap and shampoo. Air condition in my room was noisy and the thermostat does not seems to work. Ventilation is not good as the previous occupant is a smoker and the stale smoke smell is still very much there.

Food quality and choices are good at the ground floor coffee house. Front office service is efficient and good.

You have an option for Thai or Traditional Massage at the spa or you can call them up to your room. I tried the Traditional massage and the masseur is experience.

Booked in for four days three nights....wish that never was the case..

PRO

1) Mini Mart in the lobby

Honestly I can't find anything more and here is why

CONS

We had made a clear and precise instruction before we arrived at the property that we require a non smoking room, as our children are extremely sensitive tobacco.

So we had to arrive to our huge two bedroom suite to find the following

1) Smoking Room

2) Cigarette burnt sofas

3) Cigarette burnt carpeting

4) Cobwebs

5) Damp carpeting

So we asked to be moved after an hour of going back and forth, we finally were given a clean hygienic room on the 25th floor,,,it was going well till about 10 pm and guess what happens we get treated to the acoustics of the night club, right above us ....the Concrete is super thin !! I could do karoke as if I was there

After another hour of haggling with the duty manager and restless kids we finally get moved to another wing of the hotel

The whole hotel is dated dated dated ...and I can't say that enough times.

The Breakfast buffet was bland as bland can be, one could sense the hostility across all the staff...only those who had vested interest seem to care...

Room Tip: if you have to stay for reasons beyond your control stay away from the 25th Floor

We were in Johor Bahru for Legoland, and wanted a pleasant 3/4 star place near some food options. This hotel was adequate for the job but we could have done better. Reception disorganised, check in was slooooow, and the room very small and dated.

Even though the room was well presented, the towels were poorly washed. Moreover we received a wake up call that we never requested. Last but not least, the house keeping staff was very noisy in the morning while people still slept.

Spent a night here on the way to Singapore from KL. Food at breakfast was horrible, but the dinner we had at the Japanese restaurant there was ok. The room had a faint smell, but not all too unpleasant. The people at the reception were civil but not what you would consider friendly.

Room Tip: The higher up you go the better the view.

Stayed last week for 3 nights. my room was in level 18, nice view of the city.the room was great, comfortable bed and pillows, good tv channels on, ample amenities. the room is fully carpeted, so there are some dirt spots, i believe cigarettes' ashes burnt the carpet, but i was told earlier that it's a non-smoking room.the bathroom is ok, however the wall in the shower was moldy. i hope the management can do something about it, as this problem has been reviewed by others as well. breakfast was great, a lot to choose from. not a bad hotel, will definitely stay here again.
