My friend and me book a 2 nights stay here. our room is a twin queen bed n huge. The room furnitures look tired but still acceptable.

Toilet is huge but lighting is poor. There is no separated shower n bath tub so be prepared to shower in the tub. Find that it is a waste of space though.

Breakfast was average and has the usual variety of asianand western fare. They charge rm 20.88 for my 8 year old son breakfast so be prepared to pay for those with children 4 years n above.

Location is good as i am able to drive to KSL shopping centre in 10 mins.

Swimming pool is small but acceptable. The gym is mediaocre though i did not try but only pass by.

Just a note that the power was down on a Saturday night for abt 1 - 2 hours..

Overall wouldnt mind staying for a short stay with family.

Was there for a church retreat. The hotel was probably chosen due to its proximity and cost. It's quite near the immigration after passing from Singapore jb causeway. Driving there is quite easy but be careful not to miss the turn else one will travel up to KL.
Hotel is pretty basic. Alot of people in the hotel and breakfast selection is decent and packed with people and its pretty noisy. I had lunch and dinner there and food pretty similar to breakfast standard. The japanese restaurant located on the mezzaine is not bad for its value. There are karaoke and clubs within the hotel and it's not your family style joints.
On the 11th flr of the hotel, there is a decent massage joint, a beauty place for hair and nails and another facial place. Prices are not exorbitant for a decent foot massage. The service is rather poor as service staff who answer phone can't understand English. We called to inform them the safe in the room doesn't work but no one came during our 2 nights stay.

Basic hotel so don't expect much. The hotel has the flattest and uncomfortable pillows.

On a recent trip to JB, we were somewhat fated to get acquainted with this hotel cos it is among the very few hotels with rooms still left to spare during the super peak period of school holidays, deepavali and awal muharram public holidays all in the same week.

What drew us here is mainly the location and highly reasonable pricing for the rooms offered (deluxe room with 2 queen beds !)

Liked :
1) Good central location within JB city
2) Amenities within walking distance eg petrol station, Pelangi Mall, restaurants
3) Spacious room , reasonably priced
4) Newly refurbished and new bedroom furniture
5) Nice room decor
6) Spacious bathroom
7) very strong signal and fast free wifi in the room
8) Spacious gym with steam bath facility
9) Friendly hotel staff
10) Efficient maintenance crew - mini bar fridge was not working, called at around 750am , attended to in less than 5 minutes and got the fridge changed immediately
11) Superb spread for breakfast buffet

Disliked or areas that need improvement :
1) cigarette smell lingering in the air as soon as the lift door opens along the corridor (level 18) and in the room
2) bathroom tiles way too slippery (the glossy type) - should have been the matte finish for bathroom flooring
3) the electronic door lock for the room really drove us nuts cos every time we left the room, somehow the key card will malfunction and we need to get back all the way down to the front desk to re-programme the card... it's just way too sensitive ... not sure if this happens with other rooms or just ours (1816)
4) Sound proofing rather poor, probably main door not solid or thick enough cos noises from the rooms are clearly heard along the corridor as you pass by each room

I'm a frequent traveler to JB, both for work and leisure. Stayed 3 times at this hotel. Stayed twice in their 2-bedroom apartment and once in their standard room. 2-bedroom apartment comes with 2 bedrooms with a small living room and a basic kitchenette (without stove). Rooms had lots of space, clean. Pillows were comfortable. Wifi available in their rooms.
Breakfast spread was good, food was nice.
Enjoyed the swimming pool during my last stay. There are malls, shops and food stalls within 5 minutes walk. Overall a good and convenient location in the middle of Johor Bahru.

Rooms are big & spacious. Good for big families. Were happy to stay here. And will stay here again. Keep up the good service. Para Para cafe food was good too. Had buffet dinner for breaking fast during Ramadhan! Enjoyed the fried durian and fried cempedak. And they roasted a whole lamb. Though the swimming pool is small and its on a high floor and it gets cold up there. Overall, my family and I enjoyed the stay!
