A enclosed farm consist of baby to adult ostrichs. Get a first time experience to stood on ostrich egg for a picture or an interesting picture of kiddie on the back on ostrich. Feeding is allowed and having the ostrich peek behind your back while taking a picture is an unforgettable experience. Head for ostrich egg for souvenirs (RM30) or a bite on ostrich meat -satay, stew, rendang, ostrich omelette etc.

“Good for Young Kids”
Reviewed April 24, 2012

The farm is smaller than we expected, and the entrance looked a tad shabby on arrival. There was a few-days-old ostrich baby at the entrance, and the 2 little boys in the group were thrilled to be in such close proximity with one.

Commentaries were provided on various facts about ostriches, even an demonstration on "cracking" an ostrich's egg. Inside the farm, you can buy bunches of vegetables for a couple of bucks each, to feed them. All in, this is a good place to spend a couple of hours if there's young children in your group. Don't count on spending a half or whole day there, there isn't much else to do. We did not eat at the restaurant on site (it sells dishes made of ostrich meat eg. burgers) as we found the prices on the high side.

Admission is RM12 for adults and RM8 for children (free for kids below age of 4).

“Great feathery experience....”
Reviewed March 8, 2012

The entrance and the route to the Ostrich Farm do no justice to what you can expect from the venue. Once in, the in 200+ ostriches in various stage of growth awe you!
Do spray insect repellent though...some sand flies can be expected. Call the farm in advance if they are expecting a group booking at the day you are visiting...as a talk and demo will be arranged. Otherwise, the farm operator will not bother to whip up a demo for small group of 2-4...
Try the ostrich cuisines at the farm....Ostrich omelette, steak, satay, soup,.....or buy some Ostrich souvenirs at the gift shop....great for a 1 hour stay...
