We stayed a week at the Anjajavy hotel and while the experience of flying to the hotel is unique and the location is lovely a few things made it less than perfect; the beach is very average, large rocks made even getting into the ocean at times unpleasant. The food was also very average. Food is on a full board basis and small things like having to pay for water when you can't drink the tap water and having to pay for coffee after dinner was irritating considering how much the holiday cost.
The staff are the best part of a stay at Anjajavy. Pleasant and very professional. And the lemurs are lovely.
With 24 villas and one small pool it can also start to feel crowded around the pool and not very remote at all.
Overall a unique holiday expereince but not worth the cost of the trip at all.
