New and clean hotel in very good area of Jounieh. Service is very kind and helpful. The manager has his eyes everywhere and is a big help for everybody. Doesn't matter if for his stuff or hotel guests. The Food is excellente and the room was very clean. It's a bit loud, but I think this is the pulsing life of Beirut :-) If you want to see Beirut from hes new and modern site - check in.

Third time coming to this boutique hotel. Something amazing about the Hollywood hotel is that staffs recognize you directly upon your arrival, and they directly know what are you are looking for.

Contrarily to other hotels in the area, Hollywood inn is perfectly located in a very quiet place. I mean that it is 400 meters away the beach “crowded strip bars areas…”

I made my booking trough TripAdvisor link to the hotel website, and I got an excellent offer. Book directly on the hotel website! As you can get special packages deals there.

Rooms & food are offered at a very good price, but avoid the narjileh, it’s the most expensive in all jounieh area. Swimming pool is very private, they allow only in-house guests to enter the swimming pool and view is breathtaking. This is the only hotel in the area where you can get a real breakfast (fresh juice, big variety in the buffet). To avoid standard rooms, as all other rooms/suites have a breathtaking view on the Mediterranean Sea. Internet is free in the lobby and connection is excellent.

The hotel has an amazing view and is well located to travel around Lebanon if you have a car (car rental is recommended in the city), but it is an hour or so from downtown Beirut. The hotel is in an area with many 'Supernightclubs' (strip bars) but if you go down the road in the direction of the sea, there are many cool places. We had high expectations of this hotel based on price and rating. In reality the hotel was disappointing. The room rates are expensive for the value you get. The staff was not able to deal with our complaint in a professional manner, our bathroom was partly broken and the top roof swimming pool was more a peddle pool. The hotel does have a modern and fresh appeal.

because we enjoyed our time in lebanon and as it was a business trip we decided that we should go again to spend the New Year. We chose to spend our time in the 2 years old – new Hollywood in Hotel. We were collected by the complementary hotel vehicle at the airport and after the fifteen minute drive we arrived to this awesome building. The lobby is so massive that it was not overwhelmed by the huge Christmas tree. Whilst waiting to be checked in, a staff member came to us and served us freshly squeezed orange juice. This was exactly the same treatment we experienced when we stayed at the intercontinental Hotel in Jordan.

As we were taken to our rooms, I was fascinated by the Phoenician sculptors and fantastic paintings that were displayed. When we got to our room, it did not disappoint. A beautiful light coloured room with a comfortable bed and soft squashy pillows which your head could surrender to. The bathroom was spacious and the toiletries were supplied by a local soap manufacturer. (The products were so good that we asked the concierge where the manufacturers were based and two days later, the address given took us to a shop and we bought some products). As we arrived early in the morning, we did not waste any time and went down to the dining room and had breakfast.
We spent the day sleeping off the jet lag and in the evening went to the restaurant and had the Cajun chicken wrap which was delicious. In terms of touring, the following day we went to the botanical gardens in Hamra – incredible elderly trees and wild vegetation; had a delicious roasted chicken lunch at the garden restaurant;
The next day We had sushi dinner also at the same hotel with is located near the pool side with beautiful sea view of jounieh which was totally delicious! was really yummy!
The lobby was beautifully decorated; The food was sumptuous and plentiful: s. The music was spot on and the firework display which was held near the hotel area was rich and spectacular. It was such a great evening where we partied until 3.00am. All in all, our time in Lebanon was great and I definitely would like to visit the country again and possibly take in more sites. But the hotel was 4stars in every aspect and definitely when I return I would not hesitate to stay in this hotel.

Room Tip: great sleep comfy beds
