Having eaten my fair share of Armenian food, this place certainly presented a fun and innovative approach to presentation and flavouring. We sat outside which was pleasant and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. There were so many interesting sounding things on the menu that we really ordered quite a few things and got through it all, still curious to try some of the other things we didn't order! Ingredients tasted very fresh and tasty. Having been to Mayrig, this was a pleasant surprise. Mayrig is very good, but pricier, more formal, and slightly heavier food. Batchig is a more fun, light hearted, and casual counterpart. The service is good and the setting is comfortable. Quite an accessible way to try modernised versions of Armenian food, so give it a go!
