Was there last weekend. The location is great in Byblos port, beautiful scenery. During winter, there's an indoor place at the Byblos sur Mer Hotel. This is where we ate! Must admit that the service was a bit slow, probably because it was busy (lunch time on saturday) but overall the food is delicious! Been there a couple of times and I was never dissapointed. I suggest you guys try the octopus and the grilled calamari, the salad are fresh and the garlic coriander potatoes were excellent! Grilled shrimps were delicous. We wanted fresh mussels but they were out of them, because they always have a fresh batch! Maybe next time I go, i'll have some. Overall, delicious food, great location, a bit expensive but worth it! I would recommend it for everyone!

The restaurant is greatly located within Byblos port facing Byblos sur Mer hotel; the scenery is great with the surrounding water; service is swift, food tasteful & nice atmosphere... however, as previously reported by a reviewer food is a bit pricey as everything's is charged; better book in advance for weekends..

Dar Al Azrak Restaurant finds itself in the pier in front of Byblos Sur Mer hotel. This fabulous location allows eating out in the sea with no instability of sailing. The views of the old port and of the sun going down were breathtaking and could alone make a good enough reason to dine here at least once.

I asked the hotel reception to book a table. However, this wasn’t necessary – the restaurant wasn’t full, and the waiters weren’t anyway in a hurry to pay attention to the arriving guests. So I would have probably been faster to find a table on my own rather than wait for being shown to the one reserved.

The menu (English was available) offered fine selection of Lebanese cuisine. I opted for Hommos, Fattouch salad, grilled fish and a glass of Ksara white wine (together with soft drinks and 10pct VAT coming to caUS$ 37). The food was quite decent.

Sadly, service throughout the entire evening was more than relaxed. Luckily, I was in no rush and merely enjoyed the magnificent sea scene.

I can only recommend Azrak: very good food, just in the middle of the mediterranean, with a fresh breeze, and very good , although at times slow, service.
The only problem was that the fish was overcooked, and it became very crowded on a sunday lunch.
Now they are serving fruits and lebanese delicacies, free of charge and really delicious

The restaurant is built over the sea, the thing that provides enough humidity and breeze to enjoy your meal with a pleasant environment. The food was delicious, served in a timely manner by a friendly staff.
Value for money is more than fair compared to other sea food restaurant in the area. However what is missing is serving free of charge fruits and delicacies which is the trend in the Lebanese restaurants.
