“One of the best restaurants in Byblos”
Reviewed September 17, 2012

The food is very good. Order the specialty of the restaurant, the presentation is very special and its very good. (you get 4 pieces of meat on little meat hooks)
The local beer is from tap, witch is better than from the bottle. You get not a glass but a stone pot to drink out. The service is also perfect.

“Great food, amazing presentation”
Reviewed August 21, 2012

This is definitely a must in Byblos. Great setting, delicious food, amazing, unique and generous presentation. Fair prices. Service was good and fast unlike what was said in other reviews. Maybe they improved it after the comments.

“Looks nice, decent food, but not service is poor”
Reviewed July 19, 2012 via mobile

The place is in the heart of Byblos and has a nice and appealing look and feel. The food is okay, but nothing special. The way the food is presented is definately the usp of this restaurant. The waiters are not interested and seem to be somewhere else with their mind.

Overall an okay place to visit for lunch if you stay for a few days in Byblos, but not a 'must go' place.

“Simply the best place in Byblos”
Reviewed July 14, 2012

Never ever go to Byblos, or even to Lebanon without paying a visit to this amazing little place. The ambiance, the food, the presentation, the music, the tastes, the shish/hookah, the prices and definitely the innovative ideas you get exposed to in there, such as the little Saj (traditional baking oven) that is served to your table where you can heat bread and eat it with Zaatar (Thyme), Labneh (thick yogurt) and olives.
Make sure you order "Min el Makle" so they hang dishes from the ceiling above your table!
Great for couples, or small groups of friends.

“Great food and lovely setting!”
Reviewed July 10, 2012

I very rarely give 5* but we loved this place. The food was really good, it took a few minutes to get to us but we were given genourous snacks to tide us over. The haloumi cheese we ordered came after everything else by which time we were full! The beer was good and we loved the little personal 'saj' to warm your bread on. The staff were friendly and efficient despite the place being packed. When in lovely Byblos, go there!
Didn't much like the music playing... but that is purely personal.
