Following the advice from other TA reviews, we skipped the famous restaurant and went instead to Bab El-Mina. We were not disappointed! The food was fantastic, the setting was beautiful and the staff were attentive. Our best meal in Lebanon!

“Superb location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2013

Stopped by for a very late lunch. The restaurant was recommended by our driver. Beautiful views of the ancient harbour and the Med.
The menu is surprisingly limited, but you will find something to your liking.
Service was good, and the place appears to be spotlessly clean.
It is expensive (half bottle of good local wine is 35,000 Lebanese Pounds), but this has much to do with the location. Expect to pay USD65 per head if your are having fish and wine with your meal.
Try to book a table at sunset, when the views will be better, and it will be a bit cooler.

“Fantastic Sunday afternoon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2013

Spectacular location overlooking the historic port of Byblos. Good service and fantastic food. Fish is obviously the speciality in this location - FORMIDABLE. Taboulais is also excellent.

“Nice location and food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2013

Very nice Location near the sea on the port, the sea food is fresh and they service Lebanese and Mediterranean food. It is a bit expensive but it is ok since the value is fine and the quality of food is good. Nice place during sunset!!!

“Great Location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 11, 2013

Food & service is better than the other restaurants around, if you can get a table right by the Port of Byblos panoramic view, go ahead, but usually they are always busy and reservations is needed. unforgettable experience
